Well… We probably should have done this yesterday considering what a wet and rainy morning we had today, but hooray! Our bonfire is catching now:)
Today, Nick and I walked to Canada, and three hours later were escorted out with, and I quote “a mug, a frame, a Toblerone, and a shot glass”
Slightly sunburned, an overcast day is welcome after boat excursions yesterday. Today we eat the 3rd quarter of the top tier of our wedding cake, preserved remarkably well in the freezer. My how time flies. To a great many more!
Aw! As some of you may know, I have had a hard time keeping the original hubcaps on my car. In fact, I had actually lost 3 of the original VW caps over the past couple of years and thus have been driving around in a quasi ghetto- mobile.
No longer! Nick surprised me with these lovely new caps that he put on for me last weekend. I’m so excited every time I walk to the car…! 
Wolf Trap lawn is more crowded than I’ve ever seen it…gorgeous night, great people watching, and hopefully a great show. TGIF!
Washington Kastles vs St Louis Aces…. Currently up by 1 (but only just began game 2).
