Nick has spent a lot of time over the past few weeks completely restructuring our travels blog!  Without further ado, we’d like to officially launch it:

Nick & Colleen Travels

This contains trip blogs that Nick has written for all of our ‘big’ international excursions, starting with Australia 2006 and, most recently, with our recent Eastern European expedition.  We’re really excited about it (I do love it when Nick funnels all that creative energy into the written word), and we hope you will enjoy it too.

Just in case you miss the link and want to access this later on, please note that at the very bottom of our homepage (yep, scroll ALL the way to the bottom), there is a links section and the travel blog will always be listed under Our Travels.

Check out the cake!

Pictures for this trip are mostly going to be uploaded when we get back, but since Bratislava is kind enough to give free Internet in many of their main squares, here is an actual picture for today. Slovakia is more industrialized than the rest of our trip thus far-
being here now really makes you think about how it would have been not that long ago… And the iron curtain influence is very readily seen. Now, one meal in this country, where to find traditional fair for dinner? I think we’ve passed a couple of Italian and Chinese joints…

Krakow 31Who would have thought I’d find out what Przybyla means here of all places? Last night in Polska tonight, off to Bratislava tomorrow!
